She attended Kentucky Horseshoeing School in 1986 and had a long career as a farrier. She has worn many hats, including working in the harness racing industry and as a veterinaryassistant.SheattendedtheSaddleFit4LifeAcademy, taught by Jochen Schleese and studied Western Saddle Fitting under Rod Nikkel. Today she spends her time between saddle fitting and hosting rides at Jersey Maples Farm, her husband’s nearly 200-year-old farm in BradfordCounty PA. • Thur 3 PM – Saddle Fitting (Seminar Hall B) Mounted Games Across America | booth 727 Mounted Games Across America (Demonstration) showcases one of the most exciting branches of equestrian sport. Mounted Games feature fast-paced relay races that require precision, teamwork, and exceptional horseman- ship, performed by skilled riders on well-trained ponies. At advanced levels, the sport highlights remarkable athleticism and coordination, while remaining accessible to riders of all ages and experience levels. From enthusiastic beginners to seasoned competitors, participants demonstrate balance, speed, and sportsmanship in a high-energy exhibition that keeps spectators on the edge of their seats. Mounted Games combine fun and discipline, offering an engaging introduc- tion to a dynamic and growing equestrian discipline. • Sat 1 PM– All About Mounted Games (Seminar Hall B) • Sat 3 PM – Speed Games Demonstration (Equine Arena) Chaplain Joel Nupp | Cowboys for Christ Chaplain Joel Nupp was born on a horse farm near Ell- icott City, Maryland, where hard work shaped his early years and Sundays were devoted to faith. After time away from the church and personal loss, including the death of his first wife in 2004, Joel found renewed purpose through his equine dentistry business and his marriage to Shery, also a widow. In 2009, they founded a non-denominational Cowboys for Christ chapter in their barn. Ordained in 2015, Joel now serves as a chaplain for rodeoandequestriancommunitieswhilecontinuinghisequine dentistry practice alongside Shery. • Sun9:05AM– CowboysforChristService(SeminarHallB) PAWestern Dressage Association Panel | PAWestern Dressage Assoc. booth 519 The Pennsylvania Western Dressage Association (PAW- DA) is dedicated to building an equine community that blends the traditions of the American West with the prin- ciples of Classical Dressage. Honoring the horse and valu- ing true partnership, PAWDA provides shows, educational forums, and resources for riders of all breeds and levels to improve balance, cadence, and carriage. By uniting western philosophy with dressage technique, the organization pro- motes sound, willing horses and knowledgeable riders.
