Rep. G.T. Thompson and Rep. Paul Tonko ranked among the top House members, while Senators Ted Budd and Thom Tillis were leading Senate supporters. The scorecard tracked action on equine health, disease prevention, rural veterinary access, workforce development, tax policy, and trails, while also weighing Horse Cau- cus membership and responsiveness to industry concerns. For horse owners and businesses, that signals bipartisan engagement on issues affecting animal health, farmsustainability, labor shortages, transportation, and access to recreation lands.
