Horse World Expo returns to the Farm Show Complex, Harrisburg, PA for its nineteenth year, March 3-6. The mid-Atlantic region’s largest equestrian expo features over 160 hours of non-stop seminars and mounted clinics, hundreds of vendors and ample family friendly equestrian entertainment.

Entertainment highlights include the Rescued to Stardom competition, Trail Champions Challenge, Parade of Breeds and Stallion Avenue, Equi-Tainment, Mounted Archery, Mounted Games and Driving Demonstrations are all included with daily admission.

Each year, Horse World Expo strives to bring top clinicians to the area. Here are just a few new or long-missed clinicians coming to the Expo this year:

Craig Cameron, of Bluff Dale Texas, is a Western man sprinkled with the stardust of horsemanship genius. In addition to his talent in training horses and teaching people, he is also the founder of the Extreme Cowboy Association and the Ride Smart Club of Ride Smart Horsemanship.

Sadie Fisher, a local favorite, will join Horse World Expo for the first time as a clinician. A professional trainer, Sadie is no stranger to the Expo. She is a certified John & Josh Lyons Trainer and works with horses of all sizes and breeds.

Dan Grunewald, a native of Jefferson, Wisconsin, is an exhibitor, clinician and holds judging cards with 9 separate organizations. He holds multiple world champion titles in several Western disciplines and is a five time top-ten finalist with the Extreme Mustang Challenge. He will be representing Western Riding, Ranch Riding and more at the Expo.

Kendra Clarke, new to Horse World Expo in 2022, hails from New Hope, PA and is a Level 2 Centered Riding instructor and a licensed Franklin Method Equestrian Pelvic trainer specializing in horse and rider biomechanics.

Andrew Nave will be joining Horse World Expo for the first time in 2022. Andrew is a multiple National Cutting title earner and a Quarter Horse Congress Cutting Champion. In addition, he has coached and trained numerous national champions, reserve champions and top five cutters and cutting horses.

Returning clinicians include crowd favorite Australian natural horseman Guy McLean, Shawna Karrasch teaching Positive Reinforcement methods, Jason Charles, who will be designing the Trail Champions Challenge course, Ivy Starnes, who specializes in the naturally gaited breeds, Dom Schramm representing the world of Eventing, Jeff Wilson representing Western Dressage, Lindsey Partridge who is best known for her work with retired racehorses, and classical dressage and bridleless jumping expert, Brendan Wise and Unbridled Wings, to name just a few.

Rescued to Stardom

In December, eight horses began their quest to win the Rescued to Stardom contest. The contest is for unbroke horses, three years old and up, owned by a 501 c.3 rescue. Their under-saddle training began on December 1 and continues through the start of the Expo. Each competitor will compete by presenting an in-hand freestyle at HWE on Friday March 4. The final competition, an under-saddle freestyle, will be held Saturday March 5. After the Expo, horses will be available for adoption.

The participating horse rescues introduced their horses on social media and will earn points based on the number of likes on a final social media vote before the event. Voting earns points toward the win; individuals can follow the journey of these very special horses on https://www.facebook.com/RescuedtoStardom/.  Like and follow the page for the latest news.
