Improve Your Horses’ Hydration with Cascada Technology

October 2023

The newly launched Cascada Automatic Horse Waterer offers a connected, tech-driven watering experience already gaining worldwide recognition.

Its new high-tech approach to watering and consumption tracking sets the Cascada apart from other automatic waterers.

Contactless Ultrasonic Water Sensing:

The Cascada employs contactless ultrasonic sensors for water detection, a first in the equine industry. Similar to the technology used in vehicle hazard detection, these advanced sensors precisely monitor water levels in buckets without physical contact, weight balance, or float systems. This innovation ensures accurate filling, cleanliness, and durability beyond conventional methods.

App Connected Tracking and Learning:

As the industry's first IoT equine watering system, the Wi-Fi-connected Cascada continuously tracks and learns horses' drinking behavior. Using advanced algorithms, it provides valuable insights through an intuitive app. This allows users to monitor their horses' hydration patterns anywhere in the world. Intelligent notifications alert the user if a horse or bucket might need attention.

Fills a Normal Water Bucket:

The Cascada is designed to use a standard five-gallon water bucket as its drinking vessel. It fills the bucket, which hangs on an integrated hook, to the perfect level. Horse nose detection and a greater volume of water allow the horse to drink deeply and fully without interruption.

Kelly Munro, Founder/CEO at Cascada Equine, states, "This is the automatic waterer that we've all been waiting for. It offers a terrific user experience for both the horse and the human, and I genuinely believe that Cascada will save horses' lives due to the app's ability to detect and alert early indicators of serious dehydration."
